Birds of the Kruger National Park

A new photographic field guide to birds of the Kruger National Park, this book will feature 386 species that visitors are likely to see from public roads. The book will present four species per double page and will include an up-to-date distribution map for each species at a reasonable size. There will be a few photographs per species and these will include flight shots where relevant as well as different plumages - juvenile, female, etc.

At the back will feature a list of remaining vagrants and rarities (140 species), 18 species per page, without maps but with a one-line comment on their status (e.g. Recorded once at Pafuri in 1928). This will give the book a more comprehensive coverage for more serious birders who may like to see coverage of all species recorded in the park.
