Speaking Through the Multitude: Composition 1, 2 ' 3 & 4 ... is a polyphonic composition of written words, musical notes and artworks. The live combination of which, results in 'unforeseeable sentences', which run like 'glisses' across the surface of the page, challenging the notion of a master narrative. The proposed repositioning of collective practice as performative Events, opens a 'space of appearance' for protest, jazz, improvisation and movement, all of which sets a decentring dynamic in motion, providing singing side-steps to that which sovereignty stamps. This collaboratively orchestrated work drums the beat to a new 'common' saturating colour and further possibility to a crowd of artists, performers, writers, musicians, curators, academics, theorists - and the ever-expanding 'multitude', dot, dot, dot.
