Charlesworth, James H.: - James H. Charlesworth is George L. Collord Professor Emeritus of New Testament Language and Literature at Princeton Theological Seminary. He specializes in the Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha of the Old and New Testaments, the Dead Sea Scrolls, Josephus, Jesus research, and the Gospel of John. Charlesworth is director of the Princeton Theological Seminary Dead Sea Scrolls Project, working with more than fifty international specialists to produce and publish accurate text with critical apparatus and English translation. He is the editor of 2,100-page Old Testament Pseudepigrapha and author of The Good and Evil Serpent: How a Universal Symbol Became Christianized.
