Crispin: - My name is Crispin and this is the 2nd book in my Poeticus Pictoralis series.I worked for most of my life in the world of retail jewellery, starting as a sales assistant and leaving, having been general manager of a national chain of 200 shops.My father passed away in 2009 and to support my mother emotionally I increased the frequency of my visiting to once a week. I started writing a poem each week, so that we would have a new thing to talk about every visit and my mum was so inspired by the sea-related poetry that she decided to try impressionism and seascapes in oils for the first time. She has produced many now and they are excellent, so excellent that I have used them on the inside and outside of these two books. I also have included some of my wife's and two daughter's paintings along with some basic scribbles of my own. This book is full of love, variety and uplifting perspective and I am very proud that it all rhymes too!
