More Musings and Poetry is a continuation of the book Musings written by Vic Nippert and published by Covenant Books. A collection of articles written for his church's newsletter. More Musings and Poetry includes some of the poems he has written that were begun as a result of rough times in his later years, some of the things we will all face or have already done so no matter what our ages.

Many of the articles were inspired by his own view of the energy and panoramic surroundings of his Hudson Valley home. An expanse with important historic legends and stories from Rip Van Winkle, The Revolutionary War, the first steamboat, mansions of millionaires along the Hudson River to contemporary changes in towns and cities undergoing organic trans-formations on the banks up the Hudson River. But the people and their viewpoints and behavior change slower than the building construction and store fronts around them and it's the people that Vic observes that he writes about and the meaning of their lives. And his life too.

The famous writer J.R.R. Tolkien wrote in The Fellowship of the Ring a much-used quote, "Not all who wander are lost." And this is the goal of many of Vic's writings and musings. Each one of us has an observation about our goals in life and how we may or may not succeed in reaching them. But we all are looking for our own meaning in life and it may take some time to attain what that goal is. Many times, the wandering can be quite amusing, teaching us that the voyage itself was the real goal all along. Enjoy!
