Maajed, Yawar: - Yawar is well known for his distinct style in Urdu poetry and prose. In addition to traditional and most popular genres of Ghazal and Nazm (Poem) he is also known for writing poetry for children and is known as Dr. Seuss of Urdu. His works include his original poems and poetic translations of selected poems of Dr. Suess. He also takes deep interest in music and composed and sang several songs including his own children's poems and released an album titled "Bhalu Goshe". Amongst his other contributions is a powerful platform for Urdu literature GhazalSara.org (formerly SukhanSara.com) which contains poetry from classical and notable poets of recent times. He is using the same platform to publish Urdu and Hindi books in USA which are distributed globally at local rates. He is a software developer by profession and currently works as a Senior Software Solutions Architect in one of world's largest consulting companies.
