R. L. Garr loves to write and create. She owned and operated a pest control company and landscaping company in Arizona, where she lives with her spouse and two dogs. Owning the pest control company inspired her to write this book. She wants to educate readers on "the importance of all the desert critters, not to eradicate them, but understand them."
