Angela Foti is a new, self-publishing author from Stamford, Connecticut. She graduated from UCONN with her master's in business administration. Her passion for reading to children began in 2010 when she worked for a nonprofit organization supporting local elementary schools. One of the programs that Angela managed matched elementary school students to corporate professionals for a lunch and read program. Each week, students would listen captively to their assigned professional while eating lunch. Angela witnessed the magic of reading and how powerful it was for both the adult and child.

In 2022, Angela welcomed her first born, Jack, into the world. She was amazed at how a simple smile shared from her son could change a stranger's mood and wanted to capture that feeling in a graphic novel. She instantly became inspired to write her first children's book soon thereafter.
