Go to Bed Fred is the story of a little boy named Brody and the trials and tribulations he endures as he tries to put his dog, Fred, to bed for the night. Fred has a very detailed bedtime routine which includes doggy treats, goodnight songs, and of course lots of hugs and kisses. And, you know, like dog, like owner, because it turns out Brody also has just a teeny-weeny bit of trouble getting to sleep himself. There are just so many things to do first! And so many questions running through his head, like "Do fish have eyebrows?" and "Are farts just burps from your butt?" Brody's mom has her work cut out for her as she wrangles her very active son into sleep mode (a nightly struggle some of you parents just might be familiar with).
The colorful and fun illustrations bring this delightful story to life, from Fred's adorably nonplussed expressions as he gets dragged through his bedtime rituals to the unbridled energy of Brody's wacky antics as he does everything in his power to delay the inevitable.
