Banda, Rey A.: - Rey A. Banda, a Weslaco, Texas, native, is a published author of two inspirational Christmas stories involving hope, love, and perseverance. Mr. Banda is a Special Education Teacher at a local middle school. He is also the creator of "Northopolis", a magical Christmas lawn display which has sparked the interest of a national television network. Lastly, Mr. Banda is a founding member of a nonprofit group of individuals, the RGV Ghostbusters, who spread cheer and happiness throughout the Rio Grande Valley at different charity and nonprofit events.
