Shandley, Karen: - Karen Shandley has been writing and drawing since childhood. Over the years, she has created numerous drawings, scripts, and short stories. Now, as a mother of three and a stepmother of two, and working in a school with children, she has decided to turn her hobby into something more functional, starting with children's books. Children are such interesting, fun, and quirky characters that there's always something to write about. Karen understands what they like, what captivates them, and clever ways to help them learn and understand basic morals without realizing they've learned something. At heart, she is just a big kid herself.
