One day, I was petting our cat, Honey, and as I looked at her adorable face, I thought to myself, "If my cat were a lion!" That little thought is how this book came about. There are millions of cats in loving homes all around the world. Perhaps your home is one of them! Cats have many of the same habits as lions, such as hunting, and sleeping. Even their bodies are the same- just different in size. Maybe they aren't so different after all! As you begin this book, have fun imagining your cat as a lion as well. Yvonne has a heart for young children, mothers, and spreading God's love. She uses her talent and love of poetry to spread joy to those she loves and in her writing. She and her husband, Charles, have been married for over 35 years. Together, they have raised four amazing children - Charlie, Elisabeth, Andrew, and Sarah. As a family, they have taken care of many cats over the years.
