Not just from a hearsay point of view, but many times from an eyewitness perspective. Faced with actual evidence, we as a species can no longer afford to popular opinion dictate what we believe. It is our responsibility to dig for the truth ourselves, because the "history" we've been told to believe is not the history that actually happened.
