Efthymiadis, Stephanos: - STEPHANOS EFTHYMIADIS is a professor of Byzantine Studies in the Hellenic Culture Programme at the Open University of Cyprus. He has published numerous studies on Byzantine hagiography, historiography, and prosopography, and critical editions of several hagiographical texts. He is the editor of the two-volume The Ashgate Research Companion to Byzantine Hagiography (2011 and 2014) and is currently preparing a monograph on the social history of Hagia Sophia of Constantinople.
