T. Friday was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. At the age of 36, she is the mother of five children. Three handsome boys, ages 19, 15, and 13, and two beautiful girls, ages 10 and 9. At a very early age, T. Friday fell in love with reading books such as the Babysitters Club, Sweet Valley High, and Goosebumps by R.L. Stine. It wasn't until she was in her early teens that she was introduced to urban fiction books by Donald Goines. That's when she knew she wanted a career in the book industry. In January of 2016, T. Friday had her left leg amputated, and that was when she realized she had taken her life for granted and it was time to make her dreams come true. She picked up a pen and some paper and started writing. In May of 2017, T. Friday signed her first contract with Racquel Williams, the owner of RWP. Now, in 2021, she is the author of 26 books. She plans to continue writing until one day all of her books are turned into movies.
