R.M. Putnam grew up in the 1960's watching Twilight Zone, One Step Beyond, Night Gallery and other similar TV shows. Her interest in the Macabre therefore is ever-present. Fascinated with the strange and the unusual, murder and mayhem, Ms. Putnam felt drawn to write about a serial killer, an unlikely serial killer to be sure. After she completed the story, she was off on a new story, more terrifying than the last. Consumed with the project she published "The Path to Darkness Thirteen Tales of the Macabre" which includes the collection of Voodoo Doughnut stories. However, it does not end there, at present she is working on more stories for your reading pleasure. Her quest is to photograph old abandoned houses and create stories to thrill her readers.
