Shawl, Nisi: - Nisi Shawl is a Locus, World Fantasy, and Nebula Award finalist and a Tiptree Award winner. Her previous editing credits include Bloodchildren: Stories by the Octavia E. Butler Scholars, and WisCon Chronicles 5: Writing and Racial Identity. She co-edited the nonfiction anthology Strange Matings: Science Fiction, Feminism, African American Voices, and Octavia E. Butler; the mixed fiction and nonfiction anthology Stories for Chip: A Tribute to Samuel R. Delany; and the fiction section of Obsidian Magazine's special speculative fiction issue.
