Cum aș putea să redau in cuvinte puterea acestui scriitor? Ar trebui întâi să spun că primul titlu citit a fost Bunica..., apoi "Ove", apoi seria Scandalul și Oameni anxioși și Everything my son needs to know about the world...și ceea ce transmite cititorului e de neegalat. Orice fan Backman așteaptă cu nerăbdare următoarea lui carte. My friends e o poveste pe alocuri tristă, dar plină de speranță. E povestea unor prieteni: C.Jat, Ted, Ali, Joar, si a călătoriei lor prin adolescență. Și povestea Louisei. Și a lui Christian. Ați avut vreodată o vacanță de vară la care sa vă raportați toate experientele fericite ulterioare? Aveți aici o prietenie cu râs de vară. O prietenie pe care nu o veți uita curând.
Când titlul va fi tradus in lb.română, va face furtuni, nu valuri. Iar voi veti deveni " one of us", unul dintre prietenii lor.
