Horror author Caspar Finch moved into a 1908 church hoping to inspire his next great novel. What he didn't expect was finding a home that wasn't ready to let go of its past.

His wife Harper, still mourning the loss of her child, seeks comfort in a quiet life with her new puppy. When she stumbles upon a baby monitor at a local yard sale, she hopes it will offer a sense of protection. Instead, it becomes a conduit for the supernatural as a ghostly child enters through the static. The spirit of a young girl makes contact, fragile and curious at first, but with each secondhand item Harper brings home, the presence grows stronger-and more demanding.

As Harper digs into the origins of the innocent objects, a chilling pattern emerges. Each item is tied to a string of long-forgotten disappearances, all linked to the local church she now calls a home.

What begins as a ghost story soon unravels into something deeper and more sinister. The haunted relics hold the key to the girl's tragic fate, and Harper is the only one who can set her free.
