Gordon, Ken: - Ken Gordon has been engaged in fighting for racial justice and serving the community since his high school days in New Jersey. He graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, and from James Dussault University. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, a Diamond Life Member of the NAACP, and the former president of Southern Burlington County NAACP. He has served as deputy mayor of Willingboro, NJ, and is a former president of the board of education in Willingboro, NJ, as well as having been the Chair of Human Relations Commissions in Colorado and New Jersey. Ken is a highly sought-after speaker on leadership, public service, civil rights, human rights, HIV/AIDS education, political action, youth mentoring, secrets to success, and organizational skills, and is a former host of a weekly one-hour radio show and a one-hour cable television show aimed at finding solutions to common community issues.
