A club that no one should have to join.

Being a teenager is hard enough as it is, but add your mom dying from cancer three months before your thirteenth birthday, and you've got a real problem. When you should be focused on crushes, grades, sports, and enjoying the last few years of childhood, your head is full of all the what-ifs and what-nows that come after losing a parent and your life turning upside down.

At the time, Samantha Mathews didn't think anyone could relate to what she was going through. As years went on, she found out that there were more people than she had realized who had gone through the death of a parent as a child.

Dead Moms Club is a combination of Samantha's personal life experiences, her highs and lows, advice left behind by her mother before she died, and guidance to help navigate life after loss.

Even though this is a club she would rather not be a part of, she hopes that this book can be the friend that someone can go to when they need to cry, to laugh, and to be hopeful that life will get better.
