Mikey Ward has been an instructor and software engineer at Big Nerd Ranch for over ten years. He has taught courses around the world on iOS and macOS development using Objective-C and Swift. He currently maintains the company's popular Swift Essentials course - the foundation for this book - as well as the Advanced iOS course.
