Underwood, Trevor: - Trevor Underwood was born in England in 1943, and became a US citizen in 2004. He earned a M.A. (Cantab.) in mathematics and physics at Clare College, Cambridge University, in 1965, and a M.Sc. (Econ.) in economics at the London School of Economics in 1967, followed by further graduate studies in international economics at the University of Rochester, NY, and at Harvard University, from 1967 to 1969. He worked for the Bank of England, the International Monetary Fund, and the UK Treasury and was a UK Advisor to the Committee of Twenty on Reform of the International Monetary System, from 1969 to 1973. He founded a treasury consultancy business in 1974 and a treasury software company in 1976, which he continued to run until 2017. In 2008 he returned to scientific research.
