de Jonghe, Bert: - Bert De Jonghe is a Belgian landscape architect, founder of Transpolar Studio, and a graduate student at Harvard University. He earned his Master of Landscape Architecture degree at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design after completing a Bachelor of Landscape and Garden Architecture at the School of Arts in Ghent. He has worked as a research assistant at Harvard GSD's Office for Urbanization and with landscape architecture office Bureau Bas Smets in Brussels. Bert's recent publications include a co-authored article published in Marine Policy journal, called "The opening of the Transpolar Sea Route: Logistical, geopolitical, environmental, and socioeconomic impacts."
