He married Ursula Byrd in 1697, and together they had a son, William Beverley. Beverley's influence extended to his descendants, with his great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Beverley Munford, becoming a notable figure in Virginia. He passed away on April 21, 1722, in King and Queen County, Virginia, at the age of 55. His work remains a vital resource for understanding the early colonial history of Virginia and the challenges faced by its settlers.
