Sofo, Giuseppe: - Giuseppe Sofo is a lecturer and researcher in French and translation at Ca' Foscari University in Venice. When he travels, he writes, often about travelling. He is the author of children's books translated into several languages, a near-novel (Quest'alba radioattiva, Las Vegas Edizioni, 2011), and supposedly more serious academic books on translation. For reasons that still escape him, he has played and scored for the Swiss writers' national football team.
