Eoin Bourke (1939-2017) was Professor of German and Head of Department, National University of Ireland, Galway (now University of Galway). Eva Bourke is a German-Irish poet and translator. She has taught in creative writing programs at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and at the MFA program at the National University of Ireland, Galway.
